What this salary calculator shows

The calculator converts gross annual salary across common pay periods. It does not estimate income tax. For a deposit estimate based on your W-4, choose the paycheck calculator or your state below.

A $75,000 salary in different pay periods

At 40 hours per week and 52 paid weeks, $75,000 a year equals $6,250 a month, $2,884.62 per standard biweekly period, $3,125 twice a month, $1,442.31 per paid week and $36.06 per hour.

Understand the assumptions

Monthly means annual salary divided by 12; biweekly means divided by 26 and semimonthly means divided by 24. Your entered paid weeks control the weekly equivalent. Your hours and paid weeks together control the hourly equivalent. Changing your schedule does not change the annual salary you enter.

Compare offers fairly

Check whether both offers have the same expected hours, paid leave, health coverage, retirement contributions and bonus arrangements. A higher headline salary can come with longer hours or higher benefit costs. These non-salary items are not valued by the converter.
